Extra Credit: “An Indigenous Critique of Whiteness in Children’s Literature.”

The speaker of this video discusses how society nowadays has a wrong perception of how indigenous people show look like. The stereotype that white people have about indigenous and how wrong indigenous are presented in literature. Even children suffer from this stereotype and this affects the development of the children identity. This video tries to make conscious of how the world needs to change and eliminate stereotypes in specific from literature. Writers need to be more careful about what the expose in their literature.
